REFLECTIONS.........: GUUDU

Decisions=TRANSFORMATION???

As I decided to become a teacher....my first decision was not to be like my teachers at school. Experiences had taught me, kids also have lives to live and their own personal worlds. They also have problems which they would not like to share unless they really trust the adult in the teacher. The teacher's role is too challenging, coz a true teacher has to be objective enough without labelling ones weaknesses as ones personality itself, understand the root of the problem and try to help instead of humilating them. Be a a true counsellor instead of an advisor. Listen than to speak too quickly. Act and reflect values than enforcing it.Understand with the heart than only the head. Understand that their looking glass is different than ours and infer their perspective. The teacher should not forget in the whole process they call as teaching academics,there is life beyond it and preparing them for it is as important as preparing for academics. Thus started my first venture towards life's education in the guise of academics with this decision. My dream towards transforming lives........
